Michael Bay Directs New Mormon Message Starring Mark Wahlberg

In order to reach a new demographic, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hired Michel Bay to direct a new Mormon Message. They’re not actually called Mormon Messages anymore, but did you actually know that?

The inspirational video is set to star Mark Wahlberg, a Catholic, saving a Mormon, played by Kirby Heyborne, from a burning building during a robot invasion while an asteroid is heading toward Earth on Ash Wednesday.

“When you’re in the thick of it and the world is ending, we’re all just children of God,” said President Nelson when asked about the new initiative.

“We didn’t even really have a script, but it should be fine. We’ll just play an instrumental version of a hymn over a shot of Mark carrying Kirby and call it good. What’s better than combining intersectionality and action?” said Bay.

“I don’t know much about Mormons. Say hi to your mother for me,” said Wahlberg.

The short film is available on YouTube, but can also be seen beforeĀ Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
