What is even the point? Without the same sexy stranger to brush past on your way into the JKB every day, is it still worth going? Do you still take the bus if you have no pre-talking stage there to maybe try talking to you? Probably not.
“Last semester, I only went to class so I could sit seven seats down from this really hot guy,” said Riley Needham, a new victim of this phenomenon. “We never spoke, but there was always a chance we might’ve.”
Needham may be alone in life, but she is not alone in this experience.
“I quit my new job on the second day because I didn’t have a single hot coworker. I’m looking into joining BYU EMS now,” said former parking officer and current ball-knower Ben A. Lone.
It stands to reason that between classes, bus routes, walking routes, and LDS Tools, at least one hot person would come into your life. But life does not always listen to reason.
“Normally, I’d stare out the bus window imagining a future with whichever guy was sitting across the aisle,” said avid yearner Liv Solo. “Now I have to imagine a guy, too.”
