Starting in the second half of Saturday’s football game against Arizona, CougarTails have been rapidly selling out at all available venues. Though the exact reason is unconfirmed, we have our suspicions.

“Ever since the halftime show, I’ve just felt a constant need to have a CougarTail in my mouth. No idea why,” said BYU student Bryson Dyson, who has consumed several dozen since the incident.

BYU leadership remains seemingly oblivious as well.

“I just love to see everyone excited about Cosmo’s stunts!” said BYU President C. Shane Reese when asked about the matter.

We interviewed head coach Kalani Sitake after the game. “All that matters at the end of the day is that we sent Arizona home with their tails between their legs,” he said while trying not to laugh.

Cosmo posted the stunt on his own Instagram account with the caption, “In a league of my own.” We can confirm based on the video that this is a factual statement.
