Cosmo Unmasked: These People Seen Walking into Cosmo the Cougar Tryouts.

This week, BYU held its annual Cosmo and Dunk Team tryouts. Dozens of people came to show off their skills and try to become America’s best mascot. Our reporters were stationed outside the tryouts to get a glimpse into who could be the next Cosmo the Cougar. We saw many masters of stunts, dance, and showmanship walk in. Could one of these people be the next BYU mascot? Has one of them already been wearing the suit? Only time, and Cosmo’s upcoming stunts, will tell.

The following people were seen walking into tryouts:

Rod Kimble

Rod has always had a love for stunts and believes his skills would level up Cosmo’s moments on the football field. We’ll know he’s the next Cosmo if he jumps over 15 school buses on his moped at the next football game.

Nacho Libre

NACHOOOOOOOOO! He’s confident that this is the next step in his career. Some special skills he showed off in auditions included: anaconda squeeze, eagle powers, stretchy pants.

President Oaks

President Oaks may be 94, but he still has an inner fire burning with BYU school spirit. He’s already been Cosmo once, and he’ll do it again. If he gets picked as the next Cosmo, he’ll do a backflip in the next General Conference.

Tom Holland

Cosmo has already been spotted in New York promoting the new Spider-Man movie, just saying.

Keslynn Summers

She’s a cougarette with a dream for more female representation in the mascot career ladder.
