Provo, Utah, noted for being birthplace to the famous bands Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees, leaves many up-and-coming bands dreaming of what may be following BYUSA’s Battle of the Bands. That legacy has greatly shaped the Provo music scene as we at the Alternate Universe look ahead to tonight’s Battle of the Bands.

In a three-hour performance, concertgoers will be able to hear a wide range of bands, from Picture Basilisks to Think About Hydra, each who describe their music as a blend of indie pop and rock.

“The music is all pretty good,” shares audition judge Danny Reynald. “It will have you grooving to the beat and asking yourself, ‘Have I heard this before?’”

The set list for the concert will feature unique songs such as “Lightning,” “Faith Haver” and “Radioactivity.” It should be a fun night!
